Rates

Residential Rate:

There is a monthly customer charge of $51.00/month. In addition, our energy charges are broken down as follows:

    All kWh - $.1124

Electric Heat Rate:

A special rate is available for electric heat from October 1st through April 30th. A sub-meter fee of $3/month applies. The energy charge for all kWh usage is .055 (5.5 cents). Electric Heat can be any 240 volt Electric heat source such as heat pumps, electric baseboards, furnaces, boilers, and fireplaces.

*Sub-meter socket and any associated wiring and/or electrician costs are the responsibility of the member. Call MEC for the cost of the sub-meter socket. 

KVA Charges:

McLean Electric will supply a transformer up to 50 KVA for your service.  If your service requires a larger transformer, you will be billed $1.00 per KVA over 50 KVA per month.

Three Phase Accounts:

There is a monthly customer charge of $61.00/month. In addition, our energy charges are broken down as follows:

    All kWh - $.0824

    Demand Charge of $19.26 for all kW per month

Three Phase Irrigation:

    All kWh $0.0824

    Demand Charge of $19.26 for all kW per month

    Controlled Demand Charge $0.00/kW per month "Off-Peak" Program

Off Peak Grain Drying

ONLY THE HEAT SOURCE CAN BE SUB METERED! Fans and motors must be wired to the main meter. Sub Meter fee $3.00 per month
